If you haven’t guessed, my name is Andréa. I am a thirty-something marketing professional with a passion for travel, art, adventure, and the great outdoors. If you’re reading this, I assume that you must also have a passion for one, or all, of these things as well. For my first blog post, I want to let you know more about me and what you can expect to find here.
Get To Know Me, Andréa
I was born and raised in beautiful Southern California. I have called this state my home for most of my life, but I have also lived in Maryland, Pennsylvania, and Shenyang, China. I attended California State University, San Bernardino, where I received my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. I also attended California Baptist University where I earned my Master’s degree in Business Administration. And although I am very passionate about both psychology and business, English has always been one of my favorite subjects.
I truly enjoy writing which is one of the reasons why I wanted to start this blog. In fact, I actually started a fashion blog a few years ago, Style Without Words — have you heard of it? Although it was short-lived, it was something I truly enjoyed. Throughout my life, I have worked as an English teacher, sales associate, event planner, small business owner, and marketing professional. My goal now is to turn my passion for blogging and writing into a full-time career.
On a more personal note, I am really just a single gal trying to find her calling in life. In my free time, I enjoy camping, hiking, scenic road trips, trying new restaurants, reading, and arts and crafts. But most of all, I enjoy learning — learning about new places, people, languages, and cultures.

This is a travel blog, yes, but I also want to share my life with you. Here you will find a little bit of everything – from travel itineraries, hacks, and tips to journal posts about my relationships or lack thereof, fashion and style ideas, product reviews, and just daily thoughts and such. My goal for this website is for all of my readers to find inspiration, useful advice, and helpful travel content. Let’s be friends, and I promise to always keep it real.
